Request for Proposal: External Audit Services for Paramount Young Women Initiative

Paramount Young Women Initiative, a registered non-profit organization committed to “promoting education for girls and empowering young women and girls, invites proposals from qualified and experienced auditors or audit firms to conduct an independent audit of our financial and operational activities.

Scope of work

 The selected auditor/audit firm will:

• Perform a financial audit covering the fiscal year from January 2025 to December 2025 in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Assess internal controls, ensure compliance with donor requirements, and verify adherence to applicable regulations.
• Confirm that funds have been managed effectively and utilized for their intended purposes.
• Deliver a comprehensive audit report, highlighting findings, recommendations, and any identified risks, to be presented to PAYOWI’s Board of Directors or governing body.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualified auditors/audit firms must:

• Be legally registered and licensed to provide external audit services.
• Possess at least five (5) years of experience in auditing non-profit organizations.
• Have expertise in non-profit financial systems, donor compliance, and reporting standards.
• Provide references from at least three recent non-profit clients.
• Be familiar with donor-specific requirements and guidelines.

Proposal Requirements:

Interested candidates are required to submit:

• A detailed proposal outlining the audit methodology, timeline, and deliverables.
• Profiles of the lead auditor(s) and team members, emphasizing relevant experience.
• Copies of certifications and licenses.
• A list of recent non-profit clients and references.
• A financial proposal detailing fees and any additional costs.

Proposals will be assessed based on the following:

• Relevant qualifications and experience.
• Understanding of the non-profit sector and donor compliance requirements.
• Audit methodology and proposed timeline.
• Cost-effectiveness and financial proposal.
