Job Summary:
The Manager: Revenue UDM will be responsible for managing the revenue function of the municipality, ensuring that all revenue streams are maximized and that the municipality is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the revenue function of the municipality, including the collection of rates, taxes, and other revenue streams
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue streams and improve revenue collection
- Ensure that the municipality is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to revenue collection
- Provide leadership and guidance to the revenue team
- Develop and manage the revenue budget
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in revenue management or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
