A reputable plastic recycling company is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining metal structures, machinery, and equipment used in the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication of metal components.
- Repair damaged machinery, equipment, and production structures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on metal frameworks and equipment.
- Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.
- Inspect completed work for strength, accuracy, and durability.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Comply with all company health and safety regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of SSCE or Trade Test Certificate in Welding and Fabrication.
- At least 2 years of relevant welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to use welding tools and fabrication equipment safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
