Job Description
To perform and manage all activities in a way that strict adherence to approved Credit and Provisioning Policy as well as the approved standard credit processes and procedures are maintained:
Responsibilities
- Develop practical and appropriate credit solutions
- Deliver high quality and consistent credit applications/recommendations
- Monitor and control all SME accounts portfolio
- Maintain data integrity in the Credit Lens and ensuring financial information are updated on regular basis
Qualifications
- B-degree/Advance Diploma/Diploma or Equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admiration or any other related field
- Outstanding knowledge of Business and Commercial banking products and services
- At least 3 years of proven experience in Credit Analyst role at junior management level gained within the bank or at other financial institutions
- Excellent understanding of credit and associated risks
- Experienced user of Credit Lens or similar system to analyze, monitor and report on the credit applications
- Good skills that have been proven in a Business or credit environment at Management level
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Commerce and Management Studies, Credit Risk (Meets some of the requirements and would need further development)
- Knowledge of Credit Lens
- Openness to change
Education
- Internal instruction/procedures including Head office instructions, Credit lens
Experience
- Proven experience in a similar environment
Key Duties
Accountability: Analysis, evaluation, and recommendation of credit applications. Ensuring that all credit applications are assessed within the agreed SLA time. Maintaining data integrity in the Credit Lens and ensuring financial information are updated on a regular basis.
