Job description

To support the Finance Manager in ensuring effective financial management, reporting, compliance, and accountability for the Foundation’s Community-Based Financing (CBF) programs. The role focuses on financial reporting, budget monitoring, donor fund tracking, and strengthening internal controls to support sound decision-making and financial sustainability.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include maintaining accounting records, processing journal entries, preparing financial reports, tracking donor funds, variance analysis, budget support, reconciliations, compliance with donor regulations, documentation, audit support, internal control systems, collaboration with program teams, and monitoring financial performance.

Qualifications

Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting, 3+ years experience, CPA/ACCA certification (advantage), IPSAS knowledge (plus), nonprofit financial experience, financial planning skills, analytical abilities, communication skills, software proficiency, and donor funding understanding.
