Reward Consultant

<p>The Reward Consultant designs and manages comprehensive reward programs.&nbsp;</p><p>You will ensure that compensation and benefits strategies are competitive and aligned with business objectives, and they provide expert advice to HR and management teams.</p><ul><li>Relevant degree (e.g. BCom, BSocSci, HR Management or Data Analytics)</li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">GRP certification (completed or in progress) is advantageous</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">2 to 3 years' remuneration experience, preferably in a large corporate or retail environment</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Hands-on experience with remuneration processes such as annual pay reviews, salary structures, benchmarking surveys and legislative reporting</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Experience working with a range of stakeholders in a fast-paced, complex environment</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Proficiency in MS Office, including strong Excel skills</p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong>:</p><ul><li>Take ownership and deliver to agreed SLAs</li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Review and interpret information to resolve remuneration queries</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Work confidently with numbers, with strong attention to detail in data, calculations and reporting</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Apply sound judgement in grey areas, using principles and guidelines to handle each case on its own merits</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Build trust through honesty, integrity and sound advice</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Communicate clearly, concisely and with impact</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Take on new challenges with urgency, curiosity and a drive to keep growing their reward expertise</p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.</strong></p><ul><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Be the first point of contact for HR business partners and line managers on remuneration queries and changes</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Prepare remuneration proposals in line with remuneration policy, SLAs and quality standards</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Coordinate and implement annual review activities across the Group</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Prepare and submit legislative reports, including data verification and testing</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Support monthly remuneration and legislative compliance audits</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Compile and validate external benchmarking survey submissions</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Maintain and update remuneration calculators and tools</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Draft clear reward communications that support remuneration activities</p></li><li><p style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;">Contribute to reward projects as needed</p></li></ul>
