The Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Virology and a Personal Assistant to work on a research project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The project aims to investigate the molecular epidemiology of viral diseases affecting poultry and livestock in Tanzania.
Responsibilities
- Conducting literature reviews and designing research protocols
- Collecting and analyzing data
- Preparing and presenting research findings
- Managing project activities and reporting to the project leader
- Performing administrative tasks as a personal assistant to the project leader
Requirements
- PhD in Virology, Animal Health, or a related field
- Experience in research and project management
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Swahili and English
