About the role:
We're looking for a dynamic Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Medirite Philippi. In this role, you'll lead a dedicated pharmacy team, drive operational excellence, and ensure the delivery of exceptional healthcare services while maintaining compliance and business performance.
What you'll do:
- Dispense medication accurately and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage pharmacy administration, stock control, housekeeping, sales, and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, professional, and company requirements.
- Plan, prioritise, and oversee daily pharmacy operations.
- Monitor performance, manage budgets, and resolve operational challenges.
- Build effective relationships with prescribers, suppliers, store management, and support teams.
- Coach, mentor, and develop pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy support staff.
- Drive a positive, high-performance culture through leadership, motivation, and accountability.
What you bring:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree/ equivalent qualification.
- Registered as a pharmacist at the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- A PCDT (Primary Care Drug Therapy) qualification.
- Registered as a tutor.
