We are looking for an Internship Opportunity – IT Officer.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to schools using the ShuleYetu.com School Management System.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, networks, and other IT equipment.
• Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the ShuleYetu platform and mobile applications.
• Support user onboarding, system setup, and training for school administrators, teachers, and parents.
• Monitor system performance and report software bugs or technical issues to the development team.
• Assist in database management, data backup, and system documentation.
• Support website updates, software deployments, and routine system maintenance.
• Collaborate with the software development team on new features, testing, and quality assurance.
• Provide customer support through phone, email, and remote assistance.
• Perform any other ICT-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Recent graduate or final-year student seeking practical industry experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and internet technologies.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eager to learn, adaptable, and able to work both independently and in a team.
