Responsibilities

• Perform Close of Business (COB) processes daily to ensure the integrity of Business Reports.
• Ensure the uptime of Core Banking and web servers, with timely resolution and documentation of faults in the Core Banking environment.
• Confirm and ensure the completion of Extraction and distribution of POST COB reports into the designated system.
• Ensure smooth transmission of transaction files through file transfer tools to various destinations.
• Own and manage all core banking calls assigned in the ITSM & ECRM system, carrying out problem investigation and analysis, follow-up with respective teams/users, and update the status with issue resolution and follow-up for closure.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and resolution of Core Banking related issues escalated from the bank support team/users during operations, maintaining proper documentation/logs for resolution provided. Document all Customization-Modifications done to the Core Banking system for continuity.
• Monitor the Core Banking system performance on I/O waits, system and database locks, TOKEN (T24 user licenses) usage, and system speeds.
• Support other teams like Core Banking Development and Quality assurance teams on operational requests like running of batch jobs, data extraction, running of COB etc. in a test environment.
• Troubleshoot, analyze code bugs, and generate root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with support business teams and product vendors in case of product bugs/enhancement requirements and follow up with the vendor for early resolution and solution.

Daily Responsibilities

• Monitor the system performance on I/O waits, system and database locks, TOKEN (Core Banking user licenses) usage, and system speeds. Ensure core banking app and webserver monitoring and reporting.
• Attend to user-reported standard Incidents, Requests, and ad hoc enquiries.
• Gather system enhancement, data extract requests, and reporting requirements from system users and work closely with the information technology team to develop detailed technical requirements and resulting specifications.
• Maintain Core Banking systems performance by performing proactive system capacity and availability monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to the vendor.
