Job Description:
Truworths requires a Handyperson to assist in inspecting, checking and repairing all building related issues. We are looking for a qualified plumber with handy-person experience as a multi-skilled artisan.

Key Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBLE AREAS HVAC equipment Fire protection system Housekeeping & Occupational Health and Safety Basic electrical work Office moves Generators Meeting, training and function set up. Water supply. Lighting Administration Emergency tasks Repairs and Maintenance

Qualifications and Experience:
Qualification/s: An accredited plumbing trade test certificate and registered with the Plumbing Industry Registration Board. Experience / Knowledge: 3 years in the plumbing trade 5 years in a handyman position Can operate and is familiar with most portable electrical tools. Welding and basic carpentry skills. EB driver’s licence

Competencies:
Technical: • Good understanding of electrical and plumbing infrastructure. • Have a good understanding of what is required to carry out general building repairs. Essential Competencies: • General all-rounder with the emphasis on electrical and plumbing experience. Advantageous Competencies: • Able to work on all low voltage equipment. Behavioural: • Good communication skills • Team orientation, with the ability to work independently when required • Attention to detail • Team player • Punctual and meet deadlines
