Background
We are looking for an experienced Chef to work in our 13 bedded Bed and Breakfast Lodge in Msasani, working 4 days a week. Our guests are international as well as local.

Responsibilities

The chef will be very clean and tidy, maintaining both kitchen and restaurant environment at all times. They will ensure they are working independently to cook as well as serve the food to our small group of in-house guests. The restaurant is not open to wider public and therefore there are no waiters.

Qualifications and Experience

Ability to work with existing Menus/Recipes and bring more suggestions for menu improvements will be welcomed. Ability to calculate and estimate cost of each meal to help revise pricing will be required.

Additional Details

Salary Tsh 325,000 to 400,000 per month, take home, after NSSF, PAYE SDL deductions for days work (initial 3 months contract, followed by annual contracts). They should be able to be work flexibly and cover extra shifts at Tsh 20,000 per day if required.

Working hours 6.30am to 8:00pm.
