Job Description

Transport workers, supervisors, and visitors to various dewatering sites and mining locations. Deliver and collect equipment, tools, and materials required for dewatering operations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights) and report any defects promptly. Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle. Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company safety policies at all times. Assist with basic loading and offloading of equipment and supplies. Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance logs. Support site teams with minor logistical tasks when required. Follow instructions from supervisors and adapt to changing schedules or site demands.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (appropriate class for assigned vehicle).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in mining or industrial environments.
• Good knowledge of local routes and mining site access roads.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in remote and physically demanding environments.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and defensive driving practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid silicosis certificate
