Job Title

Deputy Chief Engineer (Electrical)-Numan, Adamawa State.

Job Summary Accountable for the Operation & Maintenance of Electrical equipment and down time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Accountable Assisting technician in trouble-free operation of all Power Plant equipment by adopting the Preventive /predictive maintenance of the Electrical equipment in the factory.
• Assisting technician in Maintaining & trouble shooting of all types of equipment of the plant under his section and achieving the Power Generation as per the target by adopting and initiate necessary action and corrective measures.
• Accountable for Assisting technician in maintaining and monitoring the record of miscarriages and taking corrective actions. Maintains the history cards of the equipment in the sections entrusted and keeps track of maintenance activities attended.
• Executes the jobs informed by the Technician/operation team in the sections entrusted for smooth operation of the plant.
• Shall report to the chief engineer any events of Electrical Equipment’s complications.
• Ensuring the standby equipment availability all time and maintaining the critical spares for the equipment in respective areas.
• Accountable for the adoption of SOP during operation & maintenance.
• Shall assist technician in Executing Servicing and maintenance of the Electrical equipment during off cop period.
• Accountable for maintaining and ensuring safety in all activities of operation and Maintenance.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• B.sc / HND electrical engineer or related field
• NATE or any related professional qualification is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in electrical engineering.
